Welcome to Ashland's Cub Scout Pack 1 !

Cub Scouting means "doing." Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys doing things. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting—citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Many of the activities happen right in the den and pack. The most important are the bi-weekly den meetings and the monthly pack meetings.

Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a boy's sense of belonging.

Remember the Cub Scout Motto:   Do Your Best

Scholarship Essay Contest - 2010 Saving For Your Future

Three weekly winners will be selected each week until the end of the regular Boston hockey season. A grand prize winner will receive a $7500 scholarship and a visit from the State Treasurer and Boston goalie Tim Thomas.

The Blue and Gold Dinner is almost here!!!

As I mentioned, this is a pot luck dinner. So I am looking for your help with the food. It has worked out great in the past if each den can provide a complete dinner. For example, 2 main dishes, 2 sides and 1 salad. Some of the past favorite dishes have been rigatoni, lasagna, chicken nuggets, meatballs, mac n cheese. We all know what the kids love!!
